Introduction

Welcome to Flee The Dust Co. By booking our cleaning services, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please contact us before your first scheduled service.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If a task included in your booking has not been completed to our professional standards, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a re-clean of the affected area at no additional cost. This re-clean constitutes our full satisfaction guarantee.

Our Service Model

Flee The Dust Co. operates on a package-based cleaning model, allowing our team to focus on consistent, high-quality results rather than hourly limits.

Benefits include:

  • Clear, upfront pricing

  • Efficient and focused cleaning

  • Packages tailored to your home and needs

Customised Quotes

If a customised quote is provided, our cleaners will complete only the items listed in that quote.

  • Additional tasks must be quoted and booked separately

  • Minor requests may be completed at the cleaner’s discretion

  • Pressuring cleaners to perform unquoted work may result in service cancellation, with fees still applying

We reserve the right to cancel or re-quote services where misleading or incomplete information is provided.

Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed once:

  • A 50% deposit is paid, and

  • You receive confirmation from our team via email or phone

Standard packages assume the home has been professionally cleaned within the last 4 weeks. If it has been longer, additional charges or a higher-level service may be required.

Billing & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking

  • The remaining balance is due upon our team’s arrival and must be paid before cleaning begins

  • If payment is not received on arrival, the service may be cancelled and the deposit retained

Unpaid balances may be referred for recovery, with associated costs passed on to the customer.

Cancellations & Access Policy

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service will result in the 50% deposit being retained

  • If our cleaners arrive and cannot access the property, they will wait up to 15 minutes

  • If access is not provided within 15 minutes, the booking is treated as a lockout, the team will leave, and the deposit will be kept

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty.

Service Technicians

All technicians are fully trained, background checked, and insured. Any concerns must be raised directly with Flee The Dust Co. within 24 hours of service.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services due to unsafe, unsanitary, or hostile conditions, or if illness or other risks are not disclosed.

Preparing for Your Clean

Please ensure your home is tidy and accessible so our team can focus on cleaning rather than tidying. If the property is not ready or accessible, the service may be cancelled and fees may apply.

Add-On Services

Add-on services (such as dishwashing, bed making, or bin emptying) must be booked in advance and incur an additional fee.

Pets Policy

All pets must be securely contained during the cleaning service.

  • We do not handle pet waste

  • We are not responsible for escaped pets

  • Services may be cancelled if pets pose a safety risk

Pricing Adjustments

Prices may change with 14 days’ written notice, except where misleading information has been provided.

Refund Policy

In line with consumer law, we offer a re-clean only as our resolution. Issues must be reported within 48 hours of service delivery.

Supplies & Equipment

We use our own professional products and equipment. Clients must provide a non-silicone toilet brush for each bathroom or purchase one from us.

Items We Cannot Clean

We are not licensed mould-removal specialists. Surface mould removal does not constitute treatment, and professional remediation may be required.

Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

For safety reasons, cleaners do not move heavy furniture, lift heavy objects, or climb ladders. Areas must be cleared prior to service.

Breakage, Damage & Loss

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage. Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward theft.

Property Photos & Videos

By booking with us, you consent to non-identifiable photos or videos being used for training or marketing purposes.

Weather Conditions

Clients agree to allow cleaners to use heating or cooling as required to maintain a safe working environment.

Holidays

We do not operate on public holidays or during the Christmas period. Services resume on the next scheduled date.

Non-Solicitation of Employees

Clients agree not to directly hire or solicit Flee The Dust Co. staff.

Intellectual Property

All branding, systems, and service models are the intellectual property of Flee The Dust Co. Unauthorized copying or imitation may result in legal action.

Referral Incentive

Refer a new customer and receive 10% off your next clean once the referred client completes their first paid service.

  • Discount applies to your next clean only

  • Not transferable or redeemable for cash
